TERMS OF USE

1. General

This website https://serviadiadromes.gr/ (hereinafter referred to as "Website") and its corresponding application for mobile devices (hereinafter referred to as "Application") belong to the Municipality of Servia (hereinafter referred to as " the Municipality").

The use of the electronic pages and services of the Website and the Application by the visitor/user presupposes their unreserved agreement with these terms of use, which apply to all content, pages, graphics, images, photos and files included on the Website (hereinafter for brevity "Terms of Use"). Therefore, the visitor/user must carefully read the Terms of Use before using the services and, if they do not agree, they must not use the services and the content of the Website and the Application.

The Municipality reserves the right to unilaterally modify the Terms of Use and any integral part thereof, at any time without notice. The Municipality will post the currently applicable version of the Terms of Use in order to inform the visitor/user. The visitor/user is requested to check the content of the specific pages at regular intervals for possible changes. The continued use of the pages and/or services of the Website and the Application, even after any changes, means the visitor/user's unreserved acceptance of the modified Terms of Use.

2. Intellectual Property

Apart from the expressly mentioned exceptions (copyrights of third parties, partners and entities), the Website and the Application include content that is the intellectual property of the Municipality, which is also the administrator of the Website and the Application and is protected by the relevant provisions of the Greek and European law, as well as relevant international conventions. This content includes, without limitation, texts, images, designs, graphics, videos, software applications and services provided, as well as logos, brands, trademarks and features belonging to the administrator and/or the persons mentioned on the Website and the Application as owners of the relevant rights, all of which are protected in accordance with the existing legislation on intellectual property.

3. License to Use

The Municipality encourages the private use of the content of the Website and the Application for personal information, as well as the use for educational or research purposes. Use within the context of a business or service or organization is not private use. For educational or research purposes only, the reproduction or storage of individual pages or data is permitted, with the necessary condition of indicating their origin from the Website and the Application and mentioning the names of the creators (if they appear on the Website and the Application) and provided that the relevant industrial and intellectual property rights are not infringed in any way. However, visitors/users should be aware that some files or data may be the intellectual property of third parties (partners, organizations, companies, etc.), and may not be used without the permission of these third parties (which may be indicated in the relevant indication of the Website and the Application).

It is strictly prohibited to store, reproduce, republish, transmit or distribute any part of the content of the Website and the Application for commercial purposes or for any other use that does not fall under the above paragraph.

The storage, reproduction, republishing, transmission or distribution of registered marks or service marks of the Municipality, as well as marks of cooperating entities appearing on the Website and the Application, is strictly prohibited.

4. Visitor/user responsibility

The use of the Website and the Application must be made exclusively for legal purposes and in a way that does not limit or prevent its use by third parties. The visitor/user must comply with the rules and provisions of the applicable Greek, European and international law and is obliged to use the Website and the Application in accordance with the law, good manners and these Terms of Use. The visitor/user is required to refrain from any illegal and abusive behavior when using it and in relation to it and assumes responsibility for any damage caused to the Municipality and/or a third party from bad or unfair use of the Website and/or the Application or /and the related services offered through it.

5. Use of links on third-party websites

The Website and Application may contain references to third-party websites and/or provide now or in the future the ability to access third-party websites through links, "links", hyperlinks and/or advertising banners, made by other individuals and organizations.

These references are provided for the convenience of users and to provide them with additional useful information and the use of these links will be at the sole responsibility of the visitor/user of the Website and/or the Application and the respective websites will be subject to their own terms and conditions use, for which the Municipality bears no responsibility and has no connection.

The Municipality bears no responsibility and does not guarantee in any way the content, the personal data protection policy, the correctness, legality, completeness, timeliness and/or accuracy or quality of services and the security of other websites that are connected to the Website and/ and the Application through such links, nor for the servers through which the Website, the Application and other websites are made available to the visitor/user. The Municipality is not responsible for errors or malfunctions of third-party websites, as well as for any damage to visitors/users from accessing and using the information, services and products provided through them.

6. Website Validity - Limitation of Liability

The Municipality makes every effort to ensure that all the content and information displayed on the Website and the Application are characterized, as far as possible, by accuracy, clarity, correctness, completeness, timeliness and availability, however it does not guarantee that the pages, the services, options and contents will be provided uninterrupted and error-free, and that errors will be corrected. Also, the Municipality does not guarantee that the Website or the Application or any other related website or the servers ("servers") through which they are placed to the visitor/user are provided without "viruses" or other harmful components. The Municipality does not under any circumstances guarantee the correctness, completeness or availability of the contents, pages, services, options or their results. The Municipality is not responsible for any form of damage suffered by the visitor/user of the pages, services, options and contents of the Website and/or the Application which he/she does on his/her own initiative and with the knowledge of the Terms of Use.

Each visitor/user must take all appropriate security measures (e.g., anti-virus programs, etc.) before any "loading" from the Website and/or the Application. The cost of possible corrections or repairs is assumed by the visitor/user, with the Municipality not bearing any responsibility or burden. The visitor/user is responsible for accessing the services of the Website and/or the Application, and the relevant access may require the payment of fees to third parties (e.g., internet service providers, internet time charge). The visitor/user is solely responsible for paying the relevant fees. Also, the visitor/user is solely responsible for their personal equipment with the necessary technological means that allow him to access the services of the Website and/or the Application.

7. Other terms / Applicable law

Any provision of the Terms of Use that becomes contrary to the law shall automatically cease to be valid, without in any way affecting the validity of the other terms.

This constitutes the entire binding agreement between the Municipality and the visitor/user of the Website and/or the Application and their services.
No modification of the Terms of Use shall be considered or made a part of this agreement unless expressed and evidenced in writing and incorporated into these Terms of Use.

These Terms of Use, as well as any amendment thereof, are governed and interpreted by Greek law, European Union law and relevant international treaties. Competent courts for the resolution of any dispute are exclusively the courts of Athens, Greece.
